Vapor is owned and run by local resident Karen Hyer and, along with her husband Mark, is dedicated to bringing you quality vaping products and made in the USA brand name, quality e-liquids at affordable prices.

Mark smoked cigarettes since he was a teenager. He wheezed and coughed and was using two different inhalers many times a day. During allergy season he could barely catch his breath but on he smoked…he was hooked, addicted. He tried to stop many times and, actually, did, a few times for a few weeks. But, always he returned to cigarettes.

We learned about electronic cigarettes several years ago when a man selling them came into our business. Mark was intrigued by the idea and immediately bought some. He tried them and thought they were pretty cool. They were fairly expensive at the time and didn’t offer much in the way of taste or design. Even so, Mark thought the idea was interesting and became a distributor himself.

He sold the e-cigs for a few years until other brands started showing up in big box stores and convenience stores at more affordable prices. However, during this time he never completely quit smoking cigarettes.

Two and a half years ago Mark bought from a company selling Ego-type batteries and different ‘flavors’ of e-liquid. After buying and trying these he was finally able to quit smoking cigarettes altogether. They satisfied his craving for nicotine, his habit of smoking and at the same time provided an enjoyable vaping experience.

Mark is tobacco-free today. He doesn’t take or use any medication for breathing issues. He doesn’t cough. He doesn’t get winded when walking. This is an absolute blessing for him. Our home, clothing, cars don’t smell like crud and no standing outside on a rainy, cold day.  And…the savings make us very HAPPY!

While Electronic cigarettes have not been approved by the AMA as a smoking cessation device or NRT, our experience of discovering an alternative to cigarettes has been a remarkably positive one.
