I came in to purchase a quiet, discreet vaporizer and the guy behind the counter recommended the SMOK Rolo Badge. He explained that it only uses nicotine salt liquid, which I had never heard of, and that even though I was used to regular low percentage nicotine e liquid, I'd be fine with 30 mg nicotine salt e liquid. That didn't seem right to me and I should have held off before I knew more about what I was buying - my mistake. I left the store, tried it out, and it pretty much made me sick. I called the store back and the guy who answered the phone (different guy) apologized and explained that the products I bought were more suited for a pack a day smoker wanting to switch to vaping. I asked him what I should do...and all he did was apologize and tell me if he had been helping me, he would have advised me against buying it. Again, a lot of this is on me since I didn't research the products I was buying...but then again I would have expected more from the folks at Old Towne Vapes to better match me with a product that wouldn't make me ill or cause a serious addiction problem. Not the knowledgeable professionalism I was expecting - do your homework before going with whatever these folks are recommending because if you screw up, they will not make it right for you. Update: The store reached out to me to apologize for my experience and offered to give me a store credit. Updated my star rating since I appreciate them making it right for me.
I went in and someone assisted me right away. I had no idea what I needed. I was going to get a vape to quit smoking and just a little detail and they new what would help me best. I can explain the great service I received. I will be doing all my vaping needs here.
