Originally known as Hookah Connection, Hookah & Vapor Connection began in 2011 as the vision of Jim and Dianne Fretz. At the time, hookah was still relatively unheard of in the US and was just beginning to rise in popularity among US college students.

Jim saw this as an opportunity not only to grow his existing tobacco business, but also to create a relaxing atmosphere where the hip college crowd of Greensburg could relax without fighting through a mob, talk without screaming, and smoke a fat bowl of some fantastic shisha in peace – which is exactly what he created.

Hookah Connection was an immediate success and continues to be to this day, but in 2015 the tobacco market began shifting again. The new big thing in the nicotine consumption world was quickly becoming vaporizers or “vapes.”

Upon realizing this new shift in the tobacco paradigm, Jim immediately jumped to action and began stocking top-quality vapes, parts, kits, juices, and accessories. Hookah Connection was re-branded as Hookah & Vapor Connection and the vape game in Greensburg hasn’t been the same since.
